Coaching Staff
The Cyclones are fortunate to have an
excellent coaching staff, which is dedicated to the growth and development
of young people in the south Broward area as individuals and competitive
swimmers. All Cyclones swimming coaches are certified with USA Swimming.
Head Coach – Jill Ankney.
Coach Jill has been the head coach for the Cyclones since the team was
formed. As a former competitive swimmer, she brings an extensive
knowledge of the sport to the Cyclones, which she uses to instill correct
form and technique in all of her swimmers. Coach Jill has a passion
for the sport, which is reflected in her determination to see each young
athlete reach his or her potential as a swimmer. Coach Jill has a
daughter who is a member of the Cyclones and thus understands the key role
swim team parents play in the proper and balanced development of the young
athlete. Coach Jill is ASCA (American Swimming Coaches Association)
Level 3 Certified.
